Christmas is just around the corner, literally ! So here’s my fav look for the festive season and along with that some new Sleek purchases. Wanna know what I got and how I achieve my dewy skin and perfect red lips keep on reading. Here’s my festive Makeup Look for you.
Festive Makeup Products
I got myself some new Sleek products a couple of weeks ago and they just went to the top of my fav makeup list. Fist of is this Sleek Cream Contour Kit in the colour light. It is fabulous, let me tell you that. It was an adjustment for me application wise because before I used powder based contouring products. But once I got the hang of it, I loved it. Oh yes and since I’m not going all crazy with my contour I actually use the lighter colours as concealers.
I had to get a Highlighting Palette. Sleek has in my opinion the best highlighters! This is the Highlighting Palette in Cleopatra’s Kiss. Two highlighters are powder based and the others are cream ones. I’m really impressed with this palette, all the colours are so gorgeous and work so well with my skin tone and they are highly pigmented. What would you want more!
Now that we have our dewy skin look sorted, we move on to the lipsticks. I like to alternate between different ones but red tones are a a must. Mine range from a lovely bright red lipstick to the darkest one I own. They all are long lasting and I can wear them a whole day without looking like it’s going all over my face at the end of the day. Maybe I need to touch them up throughout the day but that’s it.
Matte lipsticks: MAC – Sin (very dark red), Clinique – Pow Pop (berry shade), Sleek – Vino Tinto (dark vine red), Sephora – 4093D (bright red with blue undertones)
Semi matte lipstick: Tom Ford – Cherry Lush (bright red with blue undertones)
As you can see I only wear matte lipsticks. I just get on with them much better then the cream or glossy ones.
Red Lips and dewy Skin
For the look, I applied the darkest colour from the Cream Contour Kit (bottom right) underneath my cheek bone. I usually apply it with my finger and then blend, blend, blend with a big fluffy brush. Above the cheekbone, I layered the cream gold (Dynasty) and the pink (Goddess) highlighter. Don’t they look so pretty and glowy. I usually have to keep myself from not going to town with the highlighter and sweep it all over my face (that’s how much I love it).
Then I went on to finish the look with some setting powder, mascara and obviously my dark red lips. Today I went with the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Vino Tinto. Just look at the colour, I tried to find a matte lip cream in this shade for ages and now I’m so happy, it’s just perfect. It applies smoothly and dries in seconds to a matte finish.
And there you have my festive makeup look. Now I just need to do my hair and change into a lovely dress.
So how do you do your xmas makeup? Is it similar to mine or do you have a completely different look? Let me know in the comments down below and don’t forget to like and subscribe if you aren’t already.

Loving your lip shade suggestions! I already have Sin, which I agree, is such a lovely colour! I really need that Tom Ford shade, and the shade you’re wearing looks gorgeous on you!
