Are you ready for a date look? Only two days till the 14th of February, Valentines Day. Even though I don’t celebrate it (in my opinion you can show someone you love them any time of the day/week/year and don’t need that one special day) but anyhow a lot of you seem to be celebrating and so I thought I’d show you a cute yet simple date look for Valentines day.
The look I created is something you could wear day and night or just swap the jeans for a skirt and it all looks quite fancy. But the star of the show has to be the white bodysuit from FreePeople. They have the dreamiest tops and dresses, so when I saw this bodysuit I just knew I had to get it. It’s simple but looks so chic with its short balloon sleeves and fitted around the waist.
Date Night Makeup
For my makeup, I went with some subtle pink lips and glitter lids. For the eyes, I used my trusty Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Sparkle Stick and the Too Faced mascara Better Than Sex. As always for that extra bit of highlight, I applied Fenty’s Starstruck and to sculpt out those cheeks I used the contour stick in Amber. Now for my lips, I had to wear my new Glossier Generation G lipstick in the colour like. Its sheer matte formula gives your lips a subtle tint and I am a sucker for a matte lippy anyway.
And just to keep it simple I threw on a headband from ASOS. Lately, I have really been into accessorizing my hair (see the ultimate in-style hair clips) and it doesn’t matter if you wear your hair wavy, straight or curly, everything goes with a cute headband. And as you might have noticed I am a golden kind of gal. My necklace is from Safira, they have some amazing jewellery and my glasses are from a Swiss brand called VIU.
So tell me will you be celebrating Valentines Day? Or are you like me and just not that bothered about it? I am more for the discounted chocolate and flowers on the 15th to be honest and I’ll definitely treat my self to some pretty ones.
