In August I was in sunny Croatia enjoying life and relaxing on the beach. If you wanna know what I got up to on my holiday, the road trip post is in the making! In today’s post, I am going to share with you my holiday outfit, well all three of them. As you will discover there was a theme running through – a lot of red and never short of my cat eye sunnies.
The comfy one
For travelling and sightseeing, I often opt for a comfy holiday outfit that still is stylish. So just before our trip to Croatia I went into Brandy Melville and got myself some new hotpants and a bodysuit. The bodysuit might be the comfiest top I have ever worn. You can wear it without a bra even – if that isn’t comfy than what is?! The hot pants are high rise which I love cause they give the illusion of long legs which mine aren’t for sure. I wore this combo a lot. It’s easy, works for a lot of activities and with the red, it gives a stylish finish.

Polka dot dresses for the win
Now onto my dresses – both from Boohoo – they were worn most evenings. I seem to have discovered my love for polka dots since half of the dresses I bought this year have the pattern. Although both have polka dots on them, they are really different. Starting with my red one – it’s quite short, I have to admit but for a holiday dress, it was perfect. Pairing it with my ASOS bamboo square boxy clutch bag, it probably is my fave out of all my holiday outfits. I know for sure it still will be a fave next summer. The shoes to pair it with were my & Other Stories Open Toe Suede Mules. I’ve been a big fan of them all spring/ summer long and after wearing them that often they still look just as new as when I got them.

The white silky dress has an almost retro look to it. I saw this dress floating around on Insta and was fairly happy to get my hands on it as it always seemed to be sold out quickly. It feels light and airy. I can see myself wearing it not only on holiday but for a nice evening out and about in town. As it’s quite long it will be a good spring/ autumn pick too. Oh, and it’s white really brings out the tan. If you wanna see another polka dot dress just click here (it’s a really nice one for this time of year).

Holiday outfits for any occasion
I know summer is really over now with us but you can always go on a little get-away in autumn or winter to a warm destination and wear any of these holiday outfits. I already know that I’ll be taking the dresses with me next March to Miami.
So what is your fave holiday outfit? Tell me in the comments down below and don’t forget to give me a follow here on my blog, my Newsletter or on any of my social media Instagram / Twitter / FB (I’ll be forever thankful).
After seeing these photos I’m painfully aware of how little red I have in my wardrobe! You look gorgeous in all of these and I love the polka dots ?
