I got a new makeup bag and what better way to show it off with the “what’s in my makeup bag tag”. I’ve been thinking of doing this tag for some while now and this is the perfect time.
My Makeup Bag
I had to get a bigger makeup bag after getting the Sleek Contour Kit and when I was shopping for a new bag some makeup brushes might have slip into the basket – oops. But oh well with a bigger makeup bag there’s the space for some new brushes too. The makeup bag is from New Look and has this gorgeous palm leave design on it. Makes me wanna take it on holiday right about now!
It was finally time for me to invest in some good quality brushes! My new Lottie London brush set is amazing. They are so soft and putting on my makeup is ten times easier – Why haven’t I got them earlier?! Not only do they look like a pastel dream, they really are worth their money.
Now I actually don’t wear foundation like ever. So I only apply some contour, my beloved Soap and Glory powder and some highlighter to my face. Oh and concealer, can’t forget the concealer. My go-to concealer is from Soap and Glory . The Sleek Cream Contour Kit is just life! Was the best decision ever getting it. I’m not going back – cream contour all the way. And staying with Sleek, for the Highlighter my fave is the Cleopatras Kiss Highlighting Palette.
Next we have my brow products I have a few as I like to switch it up a little bit from time to time. Those two do the trick for me: the Soap and Glory Brow Putty Dip and the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara. For the eyes I have been using the Rimmel London Wonder’full Mascara with arganoil for years and can’t see myself changing it in any future. The Sleek Eyeshadow Palette has all the colours I need and the p2 eye primer looks that everything stays in place.
The last products are a bronzer and my blush. Love using them whenever my skin needs some extra help to look extra happy and healthy. The bronzer is quite an old one from Sleek and the blush is from Glo Minerals. Not to forget my lipsticks, I’ll always have some with me. A red one is always in there and maybe a nude (here are my faves).
Bits & Bobs
So what I always will have in my makeup bag is a tweezer and a pair of scissors. They’re just a must and some bobby pins or hair ties can be found at the bottom of my makeup bag too.
So tell me: what’s in your makeup bag? Is yours as full as mine? Fell free to leave me a comment and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog via mail or Bloglovin’.
Have a nice day you beautiful bunch, xx
